| Omschrijving | Fantasy - Written in the 70's basically during the sci-fi explosion Jandrax is a story that has nagged at my memory banks for many years. Without spoiling the story for anyone the book basically tells the story of survivors of a stranded space vessel trying to establish a community on the planet they've ended up on. At first things go well but after a time things begin to fracture as various strong personalities seek control. Jandrax, the title character, basically eschews such power games and tries to stay outside these factional in-fighting. He finally seeks solace in an exile of sorts, taking his immediate family with him to eke out an existence outside the survivors community. |
