| Omschrijving | This Darkness and Dawn omnibus includes the first three books of the series: The Vacant World (1912) aka Darkness and Dawn; Beyond the Great Oblivion (1913) and The Afterglow (1913). with 4 b/w illustrations. Interesting as an early work of survivors-of-apocalyptic-event science fiction. it's better-written than most other books of the day. Not realy good essef, but it does contain many interesting comments and observations giving one insight into common beliefs and ideas of the early 1900's. |
